I usually get this urge the week I have my period. I actually gave in one day and then felt so sick, that the following day I didn't even want to see food. Overall I try to control it or just add more protein snacks or sugar free popscicles. Good Luck and you look great!!!

Hello Judy, I know how you feel... I started at 383 and am down -113lbs.. I have such a ways to go yet and I have been at a plateu since 5/28. I spoke to my nutritionist and she told me that now I will truly begin to lose fat, before I was losing muscle and water. She said I should be glad it is going slow that way my skin has time to "catch up" w/ the enormous change. I also get frustrated because I see that people that have started out about where I was have lost so much more. But I am soooo grateful for what I have lost till now and for my health which has done a complete 360, I try to remind myself everyday that this journey is just that and it is different for each individual and as long as I continue to have my protein, water and vitamins and limit my carbs, I am working my tool and giving it my all. Good Luck and hopefully we will both continue to have success on our journey!

Judy, I know that it may seem like you have a ways to go, but just hang in there and look at what an incredible job you have done so far. I have lost 124lbs and am about 25lbs from goal, but it still seems lightyears away to me as well. I think that no matter where we are at in our journeys, we can all be a little impatient, because we all want to achieve our goals so badly! It will happen for you! A very dear friend of mine who had wls has gone from 432 down over 200lbs. and still going! I am always truly amazed to see her progress! Someone out there is reading your profile right now and wishing that they were half as successful as you have been. Keep your chin up, god bless, and much continued success to you in your journey

Hi there, I don't post very often yet I do come in and read people's posts. It seems that any issue I am having, I can log on and someone is having the same one. I am grateful for this message board. I did finally make it to the century club. After having been at a plateau for 2 (very long) months. I have now lost 102 pounds. I am loving that. But.. isn't there always a but. I am so jealous of the people that have lost 100 pounds and are near there goal. I still have over 100 pounds to go!! Started 418 Currently 316 Ultimate Goal 170 I'd like to see 299 first. Then work my way to 250. So, I have set smaller goals so the ultimate doesn't seem so far out of reach. Is there any out there that still have a ways to go and I just wonder how they are doing. Physically and mentally.

I would also love some advice I have not lost a pound since 5/28. I walk every day 30-40minutes (1.5) miles. I drink 64oz. or more each day, I limit carbs to veggies and fruits and do 1 protein shake a day. I am however loosing inches but that darn number on the scale just won't budge! I still need like 80 more lbs. til my personal goal and I am getting sooooo frustrated!!! Any advice would be great. I am considering doing that plateu buster diet for 10 day, but it is just that the instructions are so vague, like what can I cook all that meat with? Any way sorry I can't help you but maybe someone can help both of us. I feel your pain!!!

Hello All~ Everybody is doing great! My surgery was 10/13/2004. Starting weight was 290, and I am now down to 183, and total od 107 pounds. I am excited that is 13 more pounds I will be at the weight I was when I met my husband, and that is my goal (170). I met with the doc, and he thinks I will easily be losing 20 lbs. in skin. Hope all is well with everybody! Keep up the good work! Danielle
