Topic: RE: Anyone else done losing?
I'm at the same stage that you are...I weigh 174 and my doctor's goal for me was 160-176. I always told myself that as long as I can get under 175 I'd be happy. It's strange to think that haver 9 1/2 months plus all the years before my surgery of trying to lose the excess weight that I can finally say that I'm not trying to lose. I'd still like to get down another 9 lbs to 165, but am not going to pu**** For the first time in my life I can concentrate only on eating healthy. Not eating to lose weight. It's quite a change. It's amazing... Lisa -116.6 lbs 291/174.4

Topic: Hernia ??
Hi, Im almost 10 months post opt and I havent had any problems except for the last few days. I took our hot tub cover off on Monday and 3 nights ago I woke up with a pain/ache under my left breast alittle under were my one biggest incision was. I didnt really feel it until this morning when I was in the shower but I felt something like a knot under my skin. Could this be a hernia or a pulled muscle?? My hubby wants me to call my surgeon but I hate bothering him on the weekend, he is such a great guy and needs to spend time with his wife! I have my check up this friday with him but I think I might have to call Monday and see if they can take me in cause this has me very nervous. I do have a lot of sag in my belly now could that be causing a hernia? This isnt the 1st time I took the hot tub cover off so I dont know why it would cause a hernia now.. Get what I mean? HELP!! Im just so confused and dont know what could be wrong!! TIA, Chrissy LAP RNY 10-7-04 386/240/??? -146

Topic: RE: Has anyone experienced toe numbness since surgery?
Hello everyone, I too start experiencing this problem a few weeks ago. I saw my Doctor this week who said it was cause by a vitamin deficiency. He prescribed prenatal vitamins and B-12 shoots every week for one month and once a month here after. I have not been taking my vitamins every day and this was a result of that. I hope this help. Judy, I hear ya! I started at 467. I just weighed myself this morning and I am at 312! WOOHOO!!! I am setting several small goals, myself. I keep saying to myself, "Ok, just x-number of pounds to be 299." Then I will go 250, etc. Email me! We seem to be almost exactly the same in our weight loss....give or take a couple pounds! Steph

Deborah, all I can say is I feel the same exact way you do, and It definetly seems I am going through the same issues you are. My psychologist told me that this is his problem not mine. His insecurity not mine. She told me to try and speak with him and reassure that he is the only one for me. I also have been w/ my husband for 17 years since I was 18. I believe he is insecure because he is older than I am. I wish I had an answer for you but all I can say is be patient. I believe that just like this has been a big change for us, it is a big adjustment for them as well. Good Luck and I hope we can both resolve our issues!!!

Topic: RE: WOW moment
well ive just about had it with the jealousy thing....last night he called me a ****imagine...after being with him for 17 years since i was like 15 had one boyfriend before him and im a **** imagine... He stated that this remark came because im talking to people now and im changing. I told my aunt about this incident and how he says me talking to people (imagine talking to people) is driving him insane...She made a good point...She said youve always been bubbly and talked with people but now he feels threatened. I guess he figured at almost 300 lbs who would be interested... So i guess me talking with people was safe...Now that im at goal size 10 its a threat....Also made acomment of ive never had to deal with competition....COMPETION imagine i said to him why do you think it is competition im married to YOU I love YOU sooo please tell me how someone in the grocery line or gas attendent or someone i ask for directions is competition over a man that i married and beenw ith through thick and thin (literally hahaha) for 17 years...Im getting to the end of my rope im trying to convince him that i live him and only him but this is gettng real old real fast... any ideas
