My liquid intake at this time is about 45 oz which is pretty good for me.
finshed christmas shopping today. Now i need to get through the holiday get togethers without eating toooo much.

I've had many cir****tances of 'unusal' pains -- very similar to what I believe you are speaking about.
My determination has really been that they are gas pains. Sometimes they've lasted for a 3-4 days, sometimes for less. If they are of a concern to you, I would give a call to your physician.
This is such an interesting time; getting to know your new body -- and how it functions.
In the last eight weeks, I've often said that I've felt like someone took ME, my soul, my being ... and plopped it into a new body and, after my entire life, I'm trying to figure out how it works. Because it's all so very new and the body's responses are sooooo different to my 'previous life!'
New and different aches, pains -- and all those internal rumblings -- are now potentially scary things. I hope that you find an answer to your concerns.

It is surgery related, it means you are in Ketosis and burning fat for fuel!!!

Topic: bad breath
Has anyone had a problem with bad breath? I brush my teeth 5-6 times a day and I still have bad breath. I never had a problem with this before surgery. Does anyone know if this is surgery related?? Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks!!

Hello All my Oct Buddies,
Just had to share the great news... I am sooooo excited... as of today I am half way to my 100 lb mark... I cant believe it... I have lost 51 lbs...
I am still in disbelief... For awhile there I thought I was never going to reach that first goal.. But, now I have finally gotten there... I am now 8 1/2 weeks out... and praying that I can lose another 50 lbs in the next 8 weeks... but if I dont... that is ok... as long as I continue to lose... My next goal is to be down my full 100 lbs by April which will be my 6 month anniversary... So we will soon see...
Thank you to everyone for all their great help and support and I pray that everyone is doing great and becoming healthy in their own journey...
Please remember to not gauge your loss by the loss of others... we are all different and will take different paths in this journey... Keep your heads up be proud and smile often... We are all winners (losers) in this journey...

my day isn't over but so far I've had:
3 oz. tuna with low fat mayo 1 carb and 21 protein
3 oz. baked ham 0 carbs and 21 protein
1 cup broccoli 2 carbs and 2 protein
1/4 c shredded cheese 0 carbs and 3.5 protein.
This is soooo much better than I was doing.

You didn't do that bad other than the bagels. Hope you have a great time with your mom at the casino. Hope you win big, just remeber your friend Lisa lol.
Today
B- a couple of slices of pepperoni
S- a piece of sausage (sample at grocery store)
L- a couple of nuts
D- eggplant rolatini (eggplant stuffed with ricotta cheese) a bite of a meatball.
S-sugarfree fudgesicle (took me long enough to find them)
Not enough fluids today. maybe 5 oz but am going to try and get a little more in before the night is through.
Aim for a better day tommorow.

OMG I have issues. After being on the carb binge for a week, I really went back to basics and had a great day yesterday. I SO blew it today. Miserable carb/fat day.....I am ashamed!
B - 1/2 mini bagel with 1 tbsp cream cheese
L - 2 oz chicken with 1 tbsp parmesean cheese
S - 1 serving Doritos (YIKES - I couldn't stop after just 1)
1 string cheese
D - 1/2 mini bagel with 1.5 tbsp cream cheese
Thank goodness I had my protein drink first thing when I woke up, but I might have another later......
Terrible day.
Totals: 730cal, 28 fat, 53 carbs, 64 protein
Man - I need to get those bagels out of my house. 22 carbs in ONE mini-bagel.....it was yummy, but not worth it at all. I will not eat anything again today. The weekend should be easier since I am going to Foxwoods Casino for the weekend with my mom and I won't be making all this food for the kids. I'll just spend a ton of money playing Caribbean Stud Poker!
