Hi Lisa - no I didn't come home with any winnings - I was up and down and then down down down. LOL I had a GREAT time though!
Yesterday I ate:
B - protein drink
L - 1 oz ham, 1/4 c carrots
D - 1 oz prime rib, 1/2 c new potatoes
S - 1 c popcorn
I drank a ton - about 80 oz. Not feeling good - feels like the flu is coming, so not much of an appetite.

Thank you for the good wishes, and good advice!
*I will be asking my Doctor about the support groups when I see him at my next check-up appointment, and I will keep an eye on this, and I will look for the Main Message Board as well.

Congrats on your weight loss. Good luck on your future weight loss. You are already on the healthy path. I also go to support meetings, but they are free. I went a couple of months before my surgery also. I am on the website almost every day.Maybe tooo much. It is a great support system. Any question you have if not answered by your October buddies, I am sure the main message board could answer( some of the older outs are always willing to give a helping hand). Hope you had a wonderful christmas! Hope you have a healthy, happy, and safe new year!

I've been using Amplify from GNC, it has 20g per scoop and I mix it w/skim milk... so 2 cups skim milk and 2 scoops of Amplify=56g. I drink half in the AM and the other 1/2 in the afternoon when I go pick my kids up from school. I also eat Talipia fish several times a week, 4oz of this fish has 20g of protein. I put ice in my shakes but you don't have to if you don't want them as thick and if you mix them and let them set in the frig for a while will be like flavored milk.

I like EAS AdvantEdge Chocolate Fudge. Yum! It is the only one so far, that I can really tolerate. Their Cappucino ones are good too. I want to try Strawberry and French Vanilla, but I like that Chocolate one so much, I don't want to risk it (since I have some unopened Carb-o-lites still in the fridge that I will never touch again, lol!). I get mine at Walmart for less than $5 for 4 of them.

sunflower seeds
doritos
a bite of a corndog
bean and bacon soup
about 40 of fluid
2 vitamins
that is tooo much!

Support groups sounds like a great idea..
(that's how I found this board.. looking for support)
You see Susan,
I didn't sign-up for my doctors after-care program..
(It was WAY too much money)
But since I had to have an after-care program..
I opted for a local nutritionist who is great.. and much cheaper.
However, she doesn't have any support groups.
But I am sure my Surgeon (Dr. Sosa) does..
I will check into it my next Doctors Check-up.. and if I can, I will surely give the group a try!

To tell you the truth, I don't know how much I have lost so far.. I haven't been to the doctor (or nutritionist) for a few weeks, but the last time I checked I lost 66 lbs. (I almost fainted when I saw it!)

Hello Denise,
I use the choc carb counts and add one scoop of unflavored unjury. I warm it in the microwave for a warm drink. I think it even helps me drink it quicker then being cold.
