Hi Jenn, I was hoping you could direct me to where I can find Amino infusion. It sounds pretty good and I would love to try it. Thanks, Amber 304/243

Hey Karla Congrats on your weight loss. I had a hysterectomy in 2003 and stayed hot all the time, since the surgery it has definitely been the opposite. I don't know what does it, but it does happen. Lisa 382/328 -54

I'm 11 wks out today and I'm wondering if everyone is cold all the time? I have such a hard time keeping warm. If the room temp. is comfortable to me...my family is complaining about how hot it is. I find myself piling on the blankets at night and shivering during the day. Does our changing weight confuse our body's temp.? Karla (-59.5)

I use this as well. I mix it in SF Kool-Aid, and it goes down just fine and stays down.

You are very welcome! I guess I didnt know if I could have opted out of my after-care program with the surgeon or not. I figured it was a "must do" thing, and everything is figured in with the total price of the surgery. Hmm .. well, at least you DO have an after-care program in place, thats the main thing. Yeah, I would check with your surgeon on if they have any support groups. If not, they may know of some others in your area. To me, they are a "must" just like the after-care programs or nutritionist, etc. Happy New Year to you and yours, as well! I have to say today, that I have now hit a total of 60 lbs down! I am soooo proud of myself!!!!!!!! Talk to ya later!

I had a hard time finding one since I don't like the thick drinks OR sweet drinks. I found Amino Infusion - you can take it like a medication, or you can mix it with juice or water. 1 tbsp = 5 grams protein. So I mix 6 tbsp with 16 oz water. Mixed with that much water, its not medicinal tasting. They have raspberry, fruit punch, grape and green apple. The few times I took it straight, like doing a shot, it burned my stomach - granted, I was only a week out at that time. I doubt it would have that effect on me now - but I might as well get in the liquids while getting in the protein. I also mix Carb Countdown milk with SF Carnation Instant Breakfast and heat it up = 15 grams protein. Jenn
