I jumped the 50# hurdle Sunday morning. It's a big day! In 10 more pounds I'll be ready to ride the Harley with my husband. I've gone from a size 28 to a 22 in jeans. I go to water aerobics and my swimsuit is beginning to look weird and baggy. I have one in size 18 and will keep wearing the baggy one until I can get in the 18. I hope I don't scare anyone! It's exciting to read everyone's posts. Keep up the good work all of you. May 2005 be the best year of your life! May insurance companies everywhere open their corporate eyes and see what a blessing this surgery is and how they will contribute to the good health of Americans. God bless you in 2005

Hello Karla: Before my surgery I was hot all the time always turning the temperature down in my house. My wife accused me of trying to freeze her out. If I got to hot it made me sick, Now I am ten weeks out of surgery and I get cold. My wife is the one now that seems to freeze me out. I think it might have to do with our matabolisms having to adjust to our new eating habits, since we now eat so little. My hands get really cold and that is no fun I have arthritis. I keep turning the heat up but sometimes it doesn't help. Hope we all get over getting cold

OMG!!!!! I thought there was something really wrong with me!!! I was always like a polar bear, the heat never above 65 during the day and down to 58 at night with my bedroom window cracked open. my husband would ***** a blue streek, now he complains about how hot he is and the oil bill
