hot tea usually helps calm down my pouch, not always but most of the time. check with your doctor though as I dont think you should be sick all the time.
Topic: RE: Hair Loss anyone?
I swear that I am losing mine. Actually, it seems like a lot is missing! I usually have rather thick hair, so no one else really notices it. It is still a full head of hair, just I notice a big difference. Usually I can't get it all up in a clip and now it is easy to do! I also noticed a change in my hairline when my hair pulled back, I can see scalp much more than before. I was worried a bit at first, but really it is a small price to pay. I have had roughly the same hair for the past almost eight years, so it is time for a change! (Maybe, if I can keep my long hair for a while more I will!) Good luck with yours!

Oh yeah, I began taking Biotin before surgery, stopped for surgery, and then began again after surgery and I get all of my protein in!

I do Taco Bell a lot. I've had the beans with cheese, a chalupa without the lettuce and tomato and crispy tacos with just the meat and cheese. As long as I take tiny bites and chew really well, I've had no problems. I'd stay away from the jalapenos, and vegetables, but a dob of sour cream sounds good on them. I'm lucky if I can finish one. Oh, and it's really important to eat slowly. I tend to take to big a bite first and then pay for it.

I had several weeks of chronic nausea that drove me insane. I thought I could handle it, but eventually started even crying about it. Then, one day - WHAM it was gone.
I researched some articles on morning sickness remedies, and found that some of those things helped - like wearing the motion-sickness bands on my wrists, taking 1/2 a unisom (at night only of course), eating a couple chips with salt and vinegar... you might try that!

I haven't tried it yet. I'm not supposed to have red meat or rice until about 4-6 months out. When I get a craving for mexican, I cook a chicken breast on my George Foreman grill and put 2 Tbsp. of Ortega Taco Sauce and a little shredded cheddar cheese on it. Yummy!
I did try it with a whole wheat wrap, but I liked it better without the wrap. Go figure!

I tried one of the rice bowls -- that was a mistake.
I also had one of the mexican pizzas, and it stayed down ok. Must have been just the rice in the bowl thing I had.
And I know others who have had the refried beans and the new cheesy potatoes with no problems.
I've also had a taco salad from another mexican place, and did good with it too.
So I would assume that a supreme taco would be ok.

Topic: Anyone else nauseated all the time?
Hi October Babes and Babettes..
I am down 52 pounds since my surger Oct. 27! But...I am sooooo nauseated all the time and when I'm not nauseated I have a funny feeling in my pouch, almost like too much air and need to burp but can't. Not pain, just bubbly feeling. Anyone else experiencing this? I have to FORCE myself to eat and remember to eat.
I actually miss eating too. I miss being able to sit down and have a nice meal. I hope this nausea passes soon. I get regrets and don't want to feel this way.
Hugs!
Shelley

I have eaten the inside of a meximelt and also have eaten 1/2 a chicken quesadilla (I ask for it light on the sauce and well toasted) It has gone down very well. The hard taco since it tends to be greasy I am scared to try it.
