I seldom have time to read or post anything on the computer. I have two small children. But thanks to this wonderful surgery, I now have a little more energy to keep up with them. I am now down 50lbs. and thrilled to death. I can't wait till summer, waterparks watch out!

Yes, I agree with the others ... plus, it happened to me too, for quite a few days. Once I called my surgeon, they set me up to have an endoscopy, and once that was done, I felt like a new person. You shouldnt wait too long on it ... the sooner, the better you will feel. And the endoscopy is no big deal at all. Susan

Yes, call your doctor a.s.a.p. because you need to get all your nutrition. It may be a stricture and I've heard that the procedure to correct it is done on an out patient basis and solves the problem.

Becky First congrats on your remarkable weight loss. I checked by food plan and it says 3 small meals (approximately 1/2 cup or 4 oz) at regular times with between meal snacks are recommended each day. Of course, all surgeons have different plans. Sheryl

Karen Nope, no lie's here Please call your surgeon first thing Monday morning. You might have a stricture. From what I hear they are common and easy to correct. Your opening may not be large enough to let food pass through. My .02 cents Sheryl

Is anyone else having a hard time eating? It seems like everytime I eat, it comes back up. I even have a hard time drinking most liquids. I thought I would do better when I reached the 10 week mark, but I haven't. I have a friend who had WLS in June. Seven weeks after surgery I took her out to lunch and she was able to eat about 1/2 of a regular meal- no vomiting, no problem.I am still having to eat very soft, mushy foods in order to keep them down. Please tell me that this will go away. (You may even lie if you want too)
