Surgery 10/21/04
Weight Before Surgery: 377
Weight Now: 292
Loss: 85#s
So many things to say not enough room. I eat mostly what I want, Have problems when I try to eat heavier foods, like eggs in the morning do betther with oatmeal or farina. I can digest milk. I have eaten Spaghetti with meat sauce, Ground Beef,Chili, Fish, Cooked Cabbage, and Carrotts. I can eat mostly what I want as long as I focus on eating it slowly.
Somethiings I tolerate better than others, and some things I can eat more of with no problems. however I still watch the portion size. I try to get three meals in a Day. I have not eaten any bread yet. I still don't get hungry and feel better than I have in years. Hopefully will keep on feeling good.

Where did you buy it from? It sounds like a nice solution. I have been using GNC's liquid protein. It i*****h flavored and 3 tablespoons = 18g protein. I use the little shot like measureing cups and have a shot of protein several times through the day!
Have a good day!

Topic: I am in the middle of a WOW moment...
I am right in the middle of a WOW moment! I decided to clean my closet out tonight and I figured it was time to try EVERYTHING on. Well, it is going along well. It has been very nice seeing that everything fits and some are too big. Then I tried on a double breasted blazer that I used to wear ALL of the time about 8 or 9 years ago, and all of the sudden it hit me... I am smaller than I was 10 years ago! The jacket was TOO BIG!!! I can't believe that at 31 I am smaller than I was at 21!
It was a really big WOW moment for me! Thanks for letting me share!

Topic: RE: Lean cuisine?????
Hi Becky,
I am so glad you posted this. I have been eating a meal very similar to what you describe and it made me worry that I have been able to eat the whole thing. I can't fini**** everytime, but at times I can. Now I know that I am not the only one and I feel much better. I really thought something was wrong, especially after I finished one that was 9oz. Everyones responses to your post have helped me and just the fact that you can eat them as well has eased my mind. Thanks!
Congratulations on your wonderful loss. As another has said, if it isn't broken, don't fix it! You are doing wonderfully!

Topic: RE: Great Article.....Why the Scale Lies
Great article, Ann.
I must confess, I am one of those people who looks at the scale every day. Can't help myself. I already knew some of the points in the article and learned a few more. Good luck to you.

Topic: RE: Lean cuisine?????
I eat a lean cuisine carb control or weigh****chers carb control every day and most of the time I can finish a whole one. Also my nutritionist said that she believes the weight of a lean cusine is 9oz but that is w/ the container. I did measure one out one day and it weighed 5 oz. Judging from your weight loss I think whatever you are doing is working (If it ain't broke don't fix it!) Good Luck to you!
Topic: found my answer to protien problem
I know myself and some of the others have been stuggling to get protien powders down. I tried allot of different powders including the Nector everybody here talks about. (by the way anybody here likes it I have a couple you can have they are going to waste) say something maybe we can figure something out. any way I bought some unflaverd protien added some to egg this morning once my omlet was made i figure I at least dubled it's protien amount and niether the consitency or the taste changed, it also stayed down wahoo. I shopped around looking for what seemed like a good product and price the one I went with was Nutrabiotics I got 5 pounds for 33 bucks including shipping with 21 grams of protien per serving and they say 5lbs is almost 90 servings. So now I can have my Cake and my protien to lol
