I have not lost 100 pounds and that is okay with me, I am happy with my 74 ponds. I am on the elliptical 30 minutes everyday and I am doing everything right and when I look in the mirror I am tickled pink as it looks like I lost 100 pounds. I am happy for the fast losers, they are typically younger, heavier, and some has had complications. I know I am older and my metabolism is shocked and I KNOW IT WILL COME OFF SOON. Also the fast losers are going to slow down and we can be here to console them that it is not the end of their weight loss journey. Have patience you will be at the century mark soon. Hi Jo, I had surgery on 10.12.04 and I'm not in the centry club either....sigh I'm down 70 lbs which is great, feeling better all the time. Even started back working out in Tae Kwon Do, so thats great. ... but I like you would love to be in the centry club, or even under 200 at this point would be great!! Thanks for the imput everyone... I am gonna try to hang in there and not let it seriously get to me. I have started tanning to try to make myself feel better, I always do when I tan. I am also steppin it up at the gym. I really truly try not to compre myself with others, I was more worried with the amount of loss per month for the past 4 months, and if it continues this slow, I will truly never get to goal. If I continue to lose only 2.5 a month it will take me 34 more months to lose the remaining 85 lbs!!! Something has to break soon! Thans again Stacy

Not I, said the little red hen. Surgery in October, now down "only" 65 pounds ... but also down 5 sizes, off 4 of 9 prescription meds, lost a half shoe size, GAINED incredible bounce and energy. Besides - we slower losers have a better chance (I believe) of really getting a grip on what it takes to lose and keep it off. The ones who lose like magic may have a hard time getting used to restricting their eating and increasing their exercise when it suddenly becomes necessary. Well, thinking that makes ME feel less impatient, anyway. .

Weekly update! Surgery Oct 14, 04 Beginning Weight 310lbs Wt Loss Since Surgery 73lbs. Current weight 204lbs Mar 7-11 weight loss 3lbs. Total Wt loss 107lbs Clothes Size from a size 26-28 to an 18.
