Wow, what an experience. Sometimes I wonder if I have dumping syndrome, but I do not want to test it either. I am affraid if I find out that I do not dump, I will be tempted to eat things I shouldn't.

I am sooooooooooooo sorry to hear what you and others are going or have gone through. This is terrible!!!!!!!! This is a cruel thing to say/ask......would they rather not have you because of death? Would that make your not being there more acceptable? We all know we can die from being over weight and spouses would be still be alone. Wouldn't they rather have a happy healthy mate. Yes I am talking like a single person. I have been divorced over 20 years and never looked back. And now I am even more happy that I didn't. I live along but I am not lonely! Be proud of your accomplishment and another chance to live. It does sound as though there could be a little envy there or it could be "fear" of going under the knife (as some would put it) and not wanting to admit it. Either way if you feel this is what is best for you then go for it. You only live one but in case we have been given a second chance at it. Support is an important factor in the new life and if you can't get from where you need it - go get it where you can. REMEBER TO LOVE YOURSELF.......if you can't love you - then you can't love anyone else. Ann Congrats to you and happy 6 months. You are looking great! I also am 6 mths have lost 121lbs since I started this journey, down from 310 to 189 boy has my life changed for the better. Keep up the good work; god bless you and yours and you're still on your way toward a new you!

Hi! Jo! Sorry about your experience with dumping; I'm 6 months out and have dumped about 5 times since I had my surgery and you're right its not pleasant and it hurts. On my daughters birthday I had 1 extremely small slice of her ice cream cake and I like you paid for it dearly afterwards. Congrats to you on your journey, you look great!
