Stomach in or Stomach out

I have a question. How many of you had the leftover stomach removed during your procedure? I had mine removed, but a friend of mine is going through the process and has the option of either leaving it in or taking it out. What are the pros and cons? Thanks~ Danielle 290/182

My surgeon left it as he said it would continue to produce some stuff that would go down to the intestines and help with the digestion Not sure what that eintails or if it is important but this is my experience

I didnt know we would have even had a choice. I was told that the leftover stomach is still "alive" and functioning for other purposes, and it wouldnt hurt anything being in there ..... hmmm ????
