starting over...back to basics

This is such a good idea. I started counting calories, carbs and protein on the 12th. I had to up the protein and cut some carbs, but dang it worked. I ate about 1000 calories a day and low and behold I'm down 7 pounds today. Thats a pound a day for a week! I was losing 0-5 pounds a month. Those months of not losing are just plain torture. Thanx for helping me get back on track, Barbara

I'm right there with you ladies. I'll be checking out this website to get back on track. I am terrible w/ my protein, my main staple is cheese. I cannot stand eggs, or egg salad. I have lost 1/3 of my weight which my doc said would be goal for me but I would like to loose an extra 10 lbs. I've been steady for months, fluxuating 2 lbs w/ water weight. Thanks for the info, and I wish all of you continued success! Marie 240/160/150?
