where R you?
Hello everyone!!!
I was just wondering where everyone is on their weight?
B4 surgery = 360 lb's
surgery day = 345 lb's
today = 239 lb's
total = 121 lb's
Just yesterday I finally realized I've lost weight!!!
People have been saying Its amazing to see how much I've lost.
Now its sunk in I was at a friends and looked at a full length mirror and did a double take I could not belive it was me!!!
If I never loose another ounce in my life time I'll die a very happy(and healthy) woman!
It's time to throw out the mens size 5x t-shirts and the size 32 strech till ya cant stretch no more pants.
Highest weight = 327 lbs (http://www.pjus.is/kolla/images/29.jpg)
Before surgery = 304 (http://www.pjus.is/kolla/images/index_fyrri.jpg)
Current weight = 165 (http://www.pjus.is/kolla/images/seljalandsfoss.jpg)
I would like to lose some more weight but I have been going up and down between 165 and 170 for almost 2 months now. During that time I have gone from a snug size 12 to a lose size 10 but I wish the scale would show the change also I work out every day so I guess I am just building muscle
My doctor's goal for me was 140 lbs but my own goal is 150 lbs Still I would be happy if I didn't lose a single more pound

b4 surgery = 288 lbs
surgery date = 288 lbs
today = 167 lbs
total lost = 121 lbs
I am starting to get frustrated because it seems I lose some, then I gain back, over a period of days, 2-5 lbs. Then I lose it all again. I am not doing anything different. This is the first time this has been happening -- just in the last month or so. Otherwise I had never gained....always just lost. ...(sigh)...I guess this is just the way it is gonna be from now on, huh?
I AM happy with the results though .. dont get me wrong. If I never lose another pound, I will be happy where I am.
I am finally seeing the new me too. It has been overwhelming, at times, the responses I get from people who havent seen me in awhile ... but I was thinking the other day, that back when I was "big" ... people would say I looked nice, etc. ... but I always figured they were "just being nice". Now, its a little hard, because I think they REALLY MEAN IT when they give me a compliment! So I take it all in and try not to get the "big head" ... lol ...
Yeah, on the old clothes -- they are GONE -- hopefully FOREVER!

I can't complain about where I am at - but I have stalled quite a bit. I actually gained a little, and lost it back. But I have held steady for a couple of weeks now.

Just like Sharon said - I would be happy even if I didn't lose another pound! My life is great and only getting better!

Start - 260
Now - 144
Goal - 138
I now weigh 144 for a total of 116 pounds lost, and I have 6 pounds to my doctors goal. I can now see where people that gets this far out struggle with their continued weight loss. I am going up 1 pound and down 1 pound almost everyday this past 2 weeks. I even had 1 1/2 cup of spaghatti for lunch today, YIKES! I can eat so much more than I could at the beginning and I have no trouble with anything as of yet. I have not tried refined sugar yet. I follow the pouch rules but I do have some crackers, pretzels or chips occasionaly. Life is GRAND!
