I hope it is ok for me to start this but since it is the 4th (Happy Independence Day!) and hasn't been started yet I thought I would. I am down a total of 123lbs but have slowed down drastically. My eating has gotten out of hand so I am back on track this month. I have been doing lots of biking and walking this month and feel better with this. Hope everyone is doing well!

Jennie you are doing so good and thanks for calling the roll call. Well I am still losing and I havn't gone up on the scale as yet although I am expecting it anytime so I won't freak out when I do. I have lost 10 pounds this month and I have 12 more pounds to go for my doctors goal and 10 pounds for my personal goal. I am in a size 10 now after losing 110 pounds in 9 months. I am exercising an hour every other day (40 minutes cardio and 20 free weights)and I am active everyday enjoying the great summer. Janice

lets see i had surgery oct 22/04 so 8 months and bout two weeks Im down to 165.5 as of this morning. Total loss 117 lbs. I am at doctor and personal goal now and looking into plastics. Ive been busy leveling the ground and digging a hole for the center of it for a 34 ft above ground pool and renovating the house we bought. Thats how i get in my excersize I dug and leveled the whole site myself by hand with a spade shovel I can not beleive i did it all by hand. Before surgery it simply would not have gotten done by myself let alone done by hand. I wheel barrowed over 6 tons of sand yesterday alone about 100 feet to the pool area. Im making grown men look lazy and lovin it. Im not dieting ive never been one for dieting i just simply eat when im hungry and i am on the go constantl. I dont eat alot of sugars but i still enjoy my coffee with sugar in it. I do make a concious effort though to eat right. I eat my meats first then my veggies. I try and skip alot of the carbs by eating the protien and veggies first. I do not deprive myself of anything if i want it i have a bite of it. I dont how ever stock things int he house on a regular basis to temp me but if im out and its around (sweets) ill take one have a bite and give the rest to one of the kids or hubby. Im looking into a lipectomy(tummy tuck without the muscle tightening) which is covered by our canadian system. I go to that in september for a consulation and hopefully will have the surgery in october sometime. Well that is about what ive been up to and how i got to where i am now. Hope everyone is doing awesome. kindest regards deborah gale nova scotia

Did anyone think they would be where they are now a year ago? I just remember how frustrated and miserable I was last summer!!! I am just over 8 months out and down 117 pounds. I am down to 163 from 280 - and if I didn't lose another pound I would be happy, but I still have about 23 to go to get to my personal goal! Hope everyone had a nice 4th! Jolene 280/163/...140 (only 23 to go!!!)

It's always fun to see how everyone else is doing! I had my surgery 10/7/04 & I'm down a total of 113.6 lbs. I started at 291 and am at 177.4 now. I have 1.4 lbs to go to reach the top end of my surgeons goal, but would like to lose another 12 to get to my own personal goal. Things have really slowed down now, but I'm ok with that. As long as I can get rid of that last 1.4 lbs, I'm good as gold! Good job everyone! Keep it up! ~Lisa

I had surgery 10-6-04 and am now down 118 lbs to 170. My snacking has been a little out of control lately - so I will need to work on that, as well as getting in all the water and exercise. ugh! .... Susan Lap RNY St. Vincent, Carmel IN

Hi all October 2004 buddies My body seems to think that 170 lbs is the best weight for me. I have been plateauing for almost 3 weeks now and the strange thing is that I am fine with it. I am still 30 lbs away from my doctor's goal but I am down 134 lbs (153 since my highest weight) and I am just SO SO SO happy about that Best wishes to all and hope you have a good summer Kolla 304/170/140

Hello everyone! I had surgery on 10/14/04, I am down a total 98 pounds (134). I started out at 232 morning of surgery. I have reached surgeons goal (135), but have 4 pounds to personal goal (130). But if I don't make it I'm okay with that too. All though I would like to be a member of the century club!!
