OCTOBER ROLL CALL
Hi Sheryl!
Well for me I like your monthly roll call it keeps us all in touch with each other and how we all are doing. Thank you for taking the time keeping us in touch with each other. I am now 8 mts out and doing fine.
Surgery date: 10/14/04
Starting weight: 310
Todays weight: 178
Loss: 132
I never worry if I lose or not lose weight like everyone else. I'm just greatful that I have lost it and how much my life has changed for the better and how this surgery has given me my life back.
I say keep posting. I am a slow loser but I still like to see where everyone is and always hope that there will be a couple people like me so that I don't panic!!! I had surgery on 10/13 started at 278 and am now 202. I seem to be losing and gaining the same three pounds the last couple weeks and it's driving me nuts!
I SAY KEEP IT GOING !!! ITS NICE TO SEE HOW EVERYONE IS DOING. WE WILL ALL LOOSE DIFFERENTLY, LETS JUST KEEP CHEERING US ON NO MATTER HOW FAST OR SLOW WE LOOSE, IT SHOULD BE HOW WELL WE FEEL NOW, NOT HOW MUCH WEIGHT WE'VE LOST. BEST WISHES TO ALL.

i say keep posting....
someone will always loose faster or be prettier or smarter likewise someone will always loose slower be uglier and a lil looser in the head (hehehee) we are all different and thats what makes life worth living. Sooo i think if they dont wanna see how others are doing dont read the roll calls tis really that simple
Good evening everyone!
I say keep the roll call going. I love to see everyone's progress and also to know that I am not alone when I am having a slow down. My daughter just celebrated her 2nd brithday today and I feel fabulous, better than in years. I am down 96lbs, give or take a lb or two and my doc and I couldn't be happier. He said I was ahead of the average percentages at 6 months and my blood work was wonderful. Good luck and congratulations to everyone no matter where you are in your journey.

I say keep it going.....I am a slow loser but don't care....
Surgery Date: 10/25
Highest Weight: 392
Pre-Op Weight: 366.5
Current Weight: 277
Losses: 115/89.5
lots of inches lost and much greater feeling felt!!!!
Take care October brothers and sisters....I have had tons of plateaus but am pushing through them!
Well I'm part of the slow loser group! I'm just at 76 pounds and the scale has been stuck between 213-216 for the last 9 weeks!!!! I'm scared the losing is over for me, but I have to keep hoping it's just a big stall. I do have very low iron and have read this can slow down your metabolism. I'm doing my 2 mile walk 4x a week and just upped my water intake to 11 glasses a day. Hopefully this will help and I'll start losing again. I'm even thinking of joining Weigh****chers! UGH!!!
I have noticed my appetite has increased greatly in the last week or so, it's strange and a bit scary! I want carbs, but know this is the worst. If I eat protein I am full instantly though.
Anyway, I always lurk, rarely post, but wanted to check in when I saw this post today.
So, to the other slow losers out there, your not alone!!!!
Best,
Joyce
