Surgery 10/5 Starting weight: 250 Today's weight: 164 LOST: 86 I can eat everything, unfortunately. For the past several weeks, I have not been eating enough protein, getting fluids or vitamins, but I am happy to say I am back on track and SURPRISE, lost 3 pounds over the weekend. (I was lucky to lose 3 pounds in the past couple of MONTHS!) I am back to eating fish or other protein...I was so sick of meat, I was only eating fruits and veggies and snackign on too many carbs. And I have added 1 protein drink back into my daily menu - usually for breakfast. Oh, and I am taking ALL of my vitamins again. I don't know WHY I go off track - I feel ssssooooo much better when I am doing what I am supposed to be doing! Well - I am off to do my new pilates DVD....

Surgery: Oct 21 Starting weight: 285 Today's weight: 170 LOST: 115 I fit a size 12 jeans, though I really have a hard time believing it! For food, I drink a lot of shakes, water, the occasional Diet Pepsi, tuna, chicken, broccoli, carrots, potato, cheese, cheese and more cheese, Fiber One(God, I need it, lol) strawberries, cucumber, and I eat a little piece of chocolate a few times a week. (bad me, I know) I make soup often, usually a bit of chicken breast, carrot, celery, chick broth, and add some potato and milk for a cream soup or just leave it for regular. Ive had deli meat (fat free turkey) rolled up with a piece of cheddar in the middle, but only could eat 1/2.... hrm,, think thats about it. Oh, yea, Crackers that I put my tuna and chicken salads on, and soy mini rice cake thingies. With tuna and chicken i add mayo, diced pickle, shredded cheddar, mustard, salt, pepper and sometimes a little ranch or cucumber dressing in the chicken. Its super soft and yummy! Debb I can eat egg sometime, but dont enjoy it enough to risk it, lol.

I started at 278 and had surgery on 10/13. I am a really slow loser and had lost 70 pounds but gained two back this week but I thibk it is because it is cycle time any day now. Trying not to be discouraged or compare myself to others but when I read how great you are all doing it gets harder and harder not to!! Congrats to you all by the way!!

Hi Christine! I think you and I have chated before. Don't get down on yourself. Everyone losses diffrently. I had sugery on 10/18 and I am down 73lbs. My biggest thing is If I am getting all my vitamins in and at least 70 oz of water and I'm excersing 3 or more days a week then I'm hitting my goals and not worrying about how slow or fast I'm losing. Make sure to get all your protin in and make sure you are eating more fruits and veggies and less carbs. I feel like I'm a slower loser too but I really have no saggy skin that comes with losing weight super fast. Most important is that you are making yourself a new healthy lifestyle. Email me if you want to chat more. Sounds like we are on the same page. HUGS!!!!!! JENNY Young 282/209/140
