hair loss???
Yes!!! I am also 5 months post op, and I have lost a lot of hair, so I just cut it all off, colored it and it looks great!! not saying that you should do that but that was my remedy.. there's not much you can do about it, but wait it out.. it'll stop soon-- at least that's what they say at my surgeon's office.... lets keep our head up!!! we have too, we'll keep losing hair (hahahaha)
Hi Angela,
I'm 5 months post op and I've been losing my hair for a couple of months now. My dietician said up my protein and I've heard zinc helps but who knows. Other people have said that it stops after about 6 months out. It's driving my whole family crazy. My husband and kids are finding my hair everywhere! Not to mention that hair and lint are a pet peeve for me and I'm constantly asking them if there's any hair on me. Its slowed down a bit so hopefully there's some truth to the 6 month thing. Good luck!
Hi!
To help with the hair loss and we've all had it happen, make sure you up your protein and vitamins. Apparently you're not getting enough protein in a day and that's what's causing the hair loss. Try isopure about 40 grams of protein a drink, get it at any GNC store. They make special sales for wls patients. Make sure you're taking your vitamins. Hang in there.
