I seem to hit 2 weeks out of the month where I don't lose a lb and then I pick up again at 1lb per day. It has actually worked out for the best. I have lost 80lbs since surgery and do not have any saggy skin to report. Hang in. It's better to lose slowly..... Angel 10/05/04 LAP Rny -80lbs 267, 225, 200, 187 present, 145 Goal

Well, I'm down about 75# and am so glad someone who posted reminded me that we continue to lose for about 18 months. I want to lose 100# too and when I think how close I am to that and how quickly it happened I have to not let myself get discouraged that it's not happening faster. I mean, what do I expect! I've not been exercising the way I should. It's never been a lifelong habit with me so to start and keep with it is difficult. Also, I, too, retain fluid and had forgotten about that until I couldn't put on a favorite ring the other day. You know, weight loss has been so illusive for so long that even losing 75# seems like a dream and I feel so much better. BUT, this is no time to get comfortable...snacking is a pitfall too. We must all stick together....WE CAN DO IT! 291/216/???
