I can eat about 1/2 a scrambled egg before the tast starts to bother me. I can eat both halves of a deviled eag but not that often. Most of the time I make a one egg salad, I get most of that down before the tast turns on me. Barbara

I am now 5 months out -- and still, after a few bites of a scrambled egg, it just makes me nauseus. I cant do it. I used to love eggs! I tried the egg beaters ... didnt like them ..... Susan

I still cannot eat an entire scrambled egg!!! And I too loved scrambled eggs before surgery!!! I find that if I scramble it with a little milk and some cheese, that the taste is a little better. But I don't know if it is mental, or if it just fills me up really quick. About halfway through I feel like it is almost stuck in my throat!!!

Sorry to hear that you are having problems with eggs. I was and still am an egg lover as far as taste goes, and I can eat eggs however not as much as I used to. I can eat an over easy egg better than scrambled, and can tolerate scrambled eggs if they are cooked soft. I have been eating homemade breakfast burritos, small of course made with one egg, I can't eat the whole thing. If I am going to eat over easy eggs I can manage two eggs as long as I am not eating anything else with it. I manage to eat about three eggs per week, and even though I can eat two eggs I usually just eat one. Sometimes though what I can eat one day may bother me the next so I am cautious.

How interesting. I thought I was the only one who couldn't tolerate eggs. Scrambled, that is. In fact I got sick 3 times on them before I decided to stop eating them. I can eat fried and boiled, just not scrambled. I can tolerate a couple bites, but that's it... I wonder what it is about them that does this??!!

Eggs are not my friend anymore!!! I can tolerate 1/2 egg white and that's it, so why bother!! What's the deal with them anyhow??? Baby chicks for life??!!!LOL Janee Cain
