Still in Shock!
I was in Wal-Mart today with my daughter. I grabbed a pair of jeans and told her to wait on me while I tried them on. I knew they wouldn't fit, I just wanted to see how far I had to go before I could buy jeans at Wal-Mart (something I've never been able to do). Imagine my surprise when I pulled them past my knees, my thighs, my tummy and right up to my waist. I just stood there and looked at myself and as I looked into the mirror, I saw a silly little grin come on my face.
Yes, I bought them.

You go girl! Congratulations!
I feel like I moved into an new town when I shop for clothes. I have NO IDEA where "normal" sizes are in the stores - and sometimes I feel like someone is going to say to me - "Mame - The plus sizes are in another department". And actually, I am still in shock that I can go to misses and juniors - size 12 - 16 pants (depending on the cut).
Is there anyone else who just doesn't see the loss in the mirror? I am beginning to see it - and I've lost about 70 lbs. and 65 inches!
