Types of RNY surgeries:

I am wondering about the types of RNY? Is there more than one type of RNY surgery, and what is the differece? I am aware of the different surgical procedures as for as laproscopic. and envasive. I had the envasive. I saw on a web site two different procedures for the RNY but there were no explanations, one in where the small intestine is connected directly to the pouch, and the other where in addition the end of the duodinum is also conected back into the small intestine. I had the latter of the surgeries. Please correct me if I have this wrong. I am curious. About how many types or variations there are of the RNY surgery. Thanks Curtis
