Anyone ever hear of...

Well as most of you know I had an emergency apendectomy a week ago. When I saw my surgeon on Friday for my one week check up he said he saw a fibroid tumor on my uterus ( I knew I had that) but then he said both my ovaries were calcified and should probly be removed. I have never heard of this and can't seem to find anyhting on the net about it???

Just google fibroid tumor and it will come up. Check around hospitals before you have surgery--some hospitals can do this procedure laproscopy and save you some recovery time. Good luck,and best wishes Joan F.
