Exercising
What a great way to put a little humor into your workout!!!!!!! I joined with my 18 year old skinny daughter! She loves going and motivates me like crazy! She is 5'8 and 118 but she is as out of shape as I am when it comes to stamina! We are both soooo out of breath after 15 minutes on the bike!! She did the stairstepper yesterday for THREE minutes and thought she was gonna die!!
I go to Curves 3 - 4 times per week. Its hard because I have a 2 year odl and a 1 year old. I try to have dinner on the table when hubby gets home at 6pm...kids in the booster seats...and I bolt out the door in order to get there, work out and get home by the time they are just finishing dishes. Well, that was how it was supposed to go - they are all usually wrestling on the floor, dishes still on the table when I get home. And then kids need a bath (which I consider another workout) and bed. On the days I know I won't be going to Curves, I pop Richard Simmons in the DVD and do Sweatin to the Oldies. LOVE IT but I attract a crowd of toddlers (I do home daycare) and its hard not to knock them down with all that moving. I took yesterday off completely, but back to Curves tonight.

Hi,
I started swimming laps 3 days a week at the local high school pool. I called my community education in my city and asked for swimming. I really enjoy swimming and i am upto about 26 olympic laps so, i am feeling good. my weight loss slowed down this last month, i was in a lull , as soon as i started my swimming, the weight loss started to resume again.

I go to a little place called Trim & Tone. They have passive exercise beds. Basically the beds are electronic and do most of the 'movement' for you. Its a no-sweat, 1 hour workout. There are 6 beds, and each bed is 10 minutes. I pay $6 per visit, and go twice a week.
I believe it has made a big difference for me, and I started going there at 5 weeks out .....
I do know alot of folks go to Curves -- but they were too expensive for me. I dont want to pay for a contract, because 9 times out of 10, I pay, and then never go.
So ... I do what works for me.
