I am wondering the same thing? I have stalled for the last 2.5 weeks, don't know if to call it a plateu or if my body just needs time to adjust. I have tried eating more and eating less to shake things up but no changes thus far. I guess I will know on Thursday when I go to my nutritionist for my 3 month check-up.

Well, I have "stalled" several times in these past 3 months, but the one I just came off of was, by far, the worst! I stayed the same 3 weeks! The last pound I lost was 12/29........and then FINALLY, yesterday I lost 1.5, and today, another pound. Typically, I lose close to a pound a day for a week to 10 days, then stay the same, or gain a pound, then stay the same for about a week. This one...three weeks - just about killed me! And I tried everything I could think of to shake things up but nothing worked. I think our bodies just need to catch up. I see so many people complain about this - especially at 3 months out. I think its pretty common. Jenn

I have noticed if elevate my protien levels and exercise hand in hand I lose quicker. If you are able to work out it really does make a big difference. Good luck -72lbs

Hey Steve... I am a little over 3 mos and I havent lost a pound in 2 weeks. I assumed it was my birth control but seeing yalls posts make me wonder if we really are just plateuaing. I plateaued at 3 weeks too. Sucks!!

My sister (3 yrs post op) gave me this advice when I was upset that my losing had stopped... If you are taking your vitamins, drinking your water, eating the correct food, & getting some exercise then don't sweat it. Your body is in survival mode and will hang onto every oz it can til it is forced to use its reserves. There will probably be MANY plateaus, but don't let the scale scare you. The weight will come off if you are following the rules. She lost over 300 lbs & knows what she's talking about. CE
