Do you mean as in out to dinner? My dh and I went to Applebee's this weekend and I got the grilled shrimp salad - its on the Weigh****chers section of the menu and is only 4 points for the whole thing. Of course, I didn't even eat 1/4 of it. I ate SEVEN shrimp and a few bites of the veggies. (I was talking too much and not paying attention to how much I ate - I felt a bit too full after) The dressing is basically lemon juice. I also ate out every meal for a couple of days when I was at the casino in CT a few weeks ago. I ate shrimp or chicken appetizers. Got a turkey burger one night...1 egg and ham for breakfast. I have gotten a cheeseburger from Burger King once and took off the top bun...ate about 1/2 of the burger and bottom bun. Oh and I ate a slice of pizza at Chuck E Cheese this weekend...can you tell I have kids? When we go to the mall, I make my dh get the teriyaki chicken and I have a few bites. Oh - and I get the sugar free fudge bars from Dairy Queen if we go out for ice cream - YUMMY!! Jenn

My favorite place to eat out now is Olgas Kitchen. I love to get the cup of broccoli soup with snackers. I have also had their white chicken chili. I can usually eat the whole cup and most of the snackers. Don't know if that is good or bad. We went to TGI Fridays the other night and I was sick of soup and ordered a french dip. I had 2 bites (very small bites) and 4 fries and was totally stuffed. It was funny. I guess because the soup is well soupy that it goes down much easier but something like beef just stays in there, you know? Patty

I like the Blackened Tilapia Sandwich at Applebee's. I just ask for it plain (ie, just the fish). I also like their Weigh****cher's Onion Soup Au Grautin too. I'm not eating any red meat yet per my nutritionist, so I can't help you with that. Fish and chicken (as long as they're not fried) are good choices for me.

Well I haven't been to daring eating out as I had a bad experience at the beginning (it has been the only time I threw up). But I have been to a steak house and had a piece of steak and about 1/2 cup of black beans and I went on Sunday to a fish place and ate about 1 oz. of my husband's broiled fish and some smoked seafood spread on 2 crackers which was great! I guess it is just all about trial and error. Good Luck!

I went to Joe's crab shack and got the kids meal fish and chips.didn't eat 1/2 of it but a 3.99 kids meal is better than 9.99 "grown up" meal.Of corse the good old stand by Wendy's chili is always good.I tryed a soft taco at the bell but it was a BIG NO NO!!!

well I have been out several places but mainly stuck to soups with no problems. lately though I have been going out to mexican resturants more often. I have the childs soft taco meal with extra refried beans and no rice. I can also do the cheese dip very well and manage to eat only a few chips with it rather than my pre surgery three bowls of chips. I usually dont eat the taco shell but just the meat and cheese inside and the refried beans. I have had no trouble with any mexican resturant. Went to P.F. Changs and had the lettuce wraps without the lettuce with no problem and some scallops. dense meat seems to effect me for the worse, but hamburger goes down well. had 3/4 of a junior burger at wendy's last night with no difficulty.

I have had litle trouble with most anything, as long as I go slow and chew lots!! Milk products still give me some problems(especially on an empty stomach). Protein drinks(I need them) make me feel icky for about a 1/2 hour, but it's a necessary evil. I try to do 2 a DAY. My husband's a deer hunter, so I have all of the meat ground into burger, and it's fantastic for me!!! I have no prblem with anything I make with it. I can eat raw veggies and fruit, without peelings.(I was so worried I wouldn't be able to) and I find I crave them now. Eating out is always a challenge, first to see if I can order off the kids menu(most waitresses are great!) and, if I want anything off the kids menu, or I eat lots of different appetizers now. I love the appetizers more than meals now! And soup and salad is great too. Beef, chicken and turkey are meats I have to have a liquid with(juices or gravy) but, fish and pork do better?! Trial and error at home is the best way to test out new foods! Janee

ok so now that theres been alot of postings about it ill share with you all the luck and un luck stuff ive had: eating out- can eat anything as long as its not fatty, if it is i have bad gas pains.. followed by bad gas i usally eat salads or BLT but only 1 of the 4 peices with veggie or fruite. or ill get soup but theres usally only french onion and im sick of that so if they have something else ill try that but most times i dont like it. at home- ive been eating alot of fish, shrimp, oranges (as a snack), they have these good special k bars that are about 9 grams of sugar which is GREAT for me since i always feel like i need sugar before i go to the gym cause i feel REALLY sick if i use splenda before going to the gym and not REAL sugar. other then that if i want to order out i get hoggies and not ask for them to put anything on it and ill put on light mayo myself i havent had anyproblems with alot of food, no throwing up but gas pains.. but thats my own stupid fault and ive learned my lesson by now i dont drink alot of water.. only 1 bottle of water when at the gym and i dont use the protein shakes cause they all taste like splenda and powder *YUCK* but thats what im eating.. im young and i think thats why i can eat more wider slections of food and still be able to lose 60 pounds since Oct 6th. i started to work out the 2nd week out of surgery since i got the go ahead with my surgen, so i work out 4 times a week 2 times with a personal trainer. hope you all are doing great, feel great, and are thinking what you did was right!!!!!!

I've only been to O'Charlies. I get the cup of potato soup (has alot of cheese) and eat a small piece of steak with no problem. Chicken has been giving me problems. Eggs too. CE
