Anyone else nauseated all the time?

Hi October Babes and Babettes.. I am down 52 pounds since my surger Oct. 27! But...I am sooooo nauseated all the time and when I'm not nauseated I have a funny feeling in my pouch, almost like too much air and need to burp but can't. Not pain, just bubbly feeling. Anyone else experiencing this? I have to FORCE myself to eat and remember to eat. I actually miss eating too. I miss being able to sit down and have a nice meal. I hope this nausea passes soon. I get regrets and don't want to feel this way. Hugs! Shelley 228/now 176/goal 125

I had several weeks of chronic nausea that drove me insane. I thought I could handle it, but eventually started even crying about it. Then, one day - WHAM it was gone. I researched some articles on morning sickness remedies, and found that some of those things helped - like wearing the motion-sickness bands on my wrists, taking 1/2 a unisom (at night only of course), eating a couple chips with salt and vinegar... you might try that!

hot tea usually helps calm down my pouch, not always but most of the time. check with your doctor though as I dont think you should be sick all the time.

I've been like that for the past couple of weeks - but I had the flu last week. I was wondering if you all are still on antacids? I was given a 6 month prescription, but I noticed I only took it maybe 3 times in the past 2 weeks.....I wonder if that has anything to do with it. This IS getting miserable. I get hungry and make something yummy, then after 1 or 2 bites I feel so sick. Even liquids make me queasy. I am back on top of taking the Prevacid - I've taken it 3 days in a row now. I hope I feel better within a couple of days....I'm feeling like going back to stage 1 since yogurt, popsicles and such are the only things I can stand. Jenn

So sorry to hear about this nausea. I'm not sure what you're eating, but on the days when I don't eat much I get that nostalgic feeling about eating a "normal" (did I ever really eat normally???) meal. 2 days ago I hardly ate anything...had a rough go at lunch, but then yesterday I ate cereal for breakfast, soup w/crackers for lunch and a nice little Wendy's side salad for supper..I almost did feel normal! Each day will bring new experiences and I have to think that eventually your nausea will settle down. Do you drink sodas? I used to but now I rarely do and sometimes they make me feel queasy. I hope all goes well for you. Hang in there! Claudia 291/now 241/155 goal

I had a lot of nausea until about 2 weeks ago. When I talked to my dietician she told me that I needed to eat more protein. When I added more protein, sure enough the nausea was gone. I understand what you mean about being able to eat. I can't hardly stand to wait for my husband to finish a whole plate of food. I get so bored and don't want to watch him because I would love to be able to finish my food too! I have had a harder time with the mind struggle then with the eating part. Hope you feel better soon! There is an rx out there called Phenagran. I take it when I get nauseated and it helps. Ask your doc about it if you continue with the nausea.
