Sorry I haven't been here sooner!

I had my surgery oct 7th 2004 I was 382 and am down to 319 at the moment. so far the only major problem is keeping somethings down and finding a protien powder I like I just ordered some unflavored stuff I also had a small complication after surgery and tore it open anded up going back to the hospital and a couple days latter as the area hurniated (sp) so back to surgery and another day in the hospital. and still healing from that surgery almost there they said I had to heal from the inside out. so there is the 2 second update.. about me

Hi David! I had surgery on Oct. 18th, and was a few pounds heavier to start. I still can't stomach water! But most food goes down okay. I'm still struggling to find a protein powder I can stomach. I ordered a Magic Bullet so I can make protein smoothee's. Sorry about the complications. Sandi

Sorry to hear about your troubles, are you having to have your incision packed with gauze? I had to be opened up in two areas of my incision, no hospital stay thank goodness. Keep us posted on your healing. Are you taking pictures of it... I got a good one of mine... a juicy one!! What can I say... I'm weird that way!!
