Magic Bullet anyone?
1. Obey your doctor.
2. Why do so many doctors require protein drinks? Mine didn't and required plenty of dairy, tuna & lean ground beef at 3 weeks (if tolerated). I've done well with 50# at 10 weeks post-op. I don't understand why more don't suggest skim or lofat milk, cheese, yogurt.
3. As far as sugestions for recipes...try a blender and use about 1/4 a banana or some other soft fruit like frozen blueberries or strawberries or peaches. Add 1/8 teaspoon vanilla or some other flavoring like maple... a vanilla protein mix with banana and maple would be yummy...and maybe a spoonful of yogurt, too.
Good Luck!
I do do a lot of milk and cheese.. but at my starting weight I needed over 90 grams of protein a day. I just can't manage that much.
But I like the fruit idea! I'm thinking of buying some ripe babanna's a freezing them to use in smoothees. Maybe with some cottage cheese and yogurt and vanilla. I bet it'd taste like chessecak!

I really like the fruit flavor protien drinks from bariatriceating.com. I use the fuzzy navel with frozen fruit and it tastes great. I also like the chocolate with the sugar free hazlenut syrup and some ice. I also use the vanilla with strong decafe coffee and mix with ice. yummmy! Good luck. ttfn Mary
I love my Magic Bullet. I buy the bag of mixed fruit at Costco, use the vanilla protein powder, put a few pieces of fruit, 2-3ozs H2o, sometimes, nonfat milk, not always...and blend it up. I Love IT!! I'll have the Chocolate protein powder, 1/2 banana, a frozen strawberry (also from Costco)...yummy. And, with the fat free sugar free pudding the cup is the perfect size. 1 box of pudding, Non fat milk right up to the threaded area, put the blade on and mix it up. you can store it in the fridge in the same cup, you get a couple of lids. I LOVE IT!! I'm sure you'll love it too!!
