Start the New Year Right
Tonight I'm having friends over and when I get excited I tense up and can't eat. What a blessing! We're having chips and dips, but also veggies. Others will be bringing snacks as well. I want to wake up on January 1 without feeling bad or regretting what I ate the night before. Let's all lift a prayer for strength to "do the right thing" and make these new habits a part of our new life in the New Year. I chart my weekly progress on Sunday morning and last time I looked I was only 2# away from the 50# hurdle. That's what I'm striving for this weekend...not to see what I can get away with. I'm 10 weeks post-op today.
