protein drinks
I like EAS AdvantEdge Chocolate Fudge. Yum! It is the only one so far, that I can really tolerate. Their Cappucino ones are good too. I want to try Strawberry and French Vanilla, but I like that Chocolate one so much, I don't want to risk it (since I have some unopened Carb-o-lites still in the fridge that I will never touch again, lol!). I get mine at Walmart for less than $5 for 4 of them.
Hi
I've been using Amplify from GNC, it has 20g per scoop and I mix it w/skim milk... so 2 cups skim milk and 2 scoops of Amplify=56g. I drink half in the AM and the other 1/2 in the afternoon when I go pick my kids up from school. I also eat Talipia fish several times a week, 4oz of this fish has 20g of protein. I put ice in my shakes but you don't have to if you don't want them as thick and if you mix them and let them set in the frig for a while will be like flavored milk.

I had a hard time finding one since I don't like the thick drinks OR sweet drinks. I found Amino Infusion - you can take it like a medication, or you can mix it with juice or water. 1 tbsp = 5 grams protein. So I mix 6 tbsp with 16 oz water. Mixed with that much water, its not medicinal tasting. They have raspberry, fruit punch, grape and green apple. The few times I took it straight, like doing a shot, it burned my stomach - granted, I was only a week out at that time. I doubt it would have that effect on me now - but I might as well get in the liquids while getting in the protein. I also mix Carb Countdown milk with SF Carnation Instant Breakfast and heat it up = 15 grams protein.

Hi, Denise - I don't like the chocolate or vanilla "shakes", either, and was having issues with eating first thing in the morning. I tried a fruit-flavored protein drink called "Nectar" (search on google will give you a bunch of hits and distributors), and I bought the Fuzzy Navel (tastes like a cloudy Tang) and Very Berry Cherry (which I mix with a little sugar free cherry kool aid). Both are like a slightly murky koolaid, and mix well. The added benefit is that I can drink them first thing in the morning, so I'm not too thirsty waiting an hour to be able to eat then wait the 30 before I drink. There's 24g of whey protein isolate in each scoop, which you mix with 8oz of water. I mix with 20, adding the koolaid or crystal light organge to the fuzzy navel.
