Has anyone out there been experiencing nausea. It doesn't matter how much or little I eat or when, or where. Any help is appreciated! Lynn

I get nausea now and then, but not as you described. If I were you I would get ahold of your clinic and ask them for any suggestions, they might want to see you just to make sure everything is ok. Good luck, Rach

I will be going to see the doctor tomorrow. It's just that I have had it for so long now that I thought someone else might have experienced it. I really appreciate the answer, I'll let you know what he says. Lynn

I've had some nausea lately, too. It improved after a BM (sorry - but true). I would more nauseous when I was TOO hungry, but felt I couldn't get much in - I'd take a very small piece of meat or jerky and that seemed to help - but not too much or I'd throw up. What helped the most was small amounts of milk of magnesia and then eventually getting the bowels moving. I was getting to the point of vomitting and nauseous even after drinking water. I would like you to tell me what your Doc has to say. Email me please. And I hope it gets better.

Hi to all. I went to the doctor and he put me on a very expensive but effective pill. I am doing sooo much better. AND I lost another 16 pounds. So I am up to 41, or down to 41 pounds!

What is the pill called? Ohhh I'm so nauseated for 2 months and have lost a whopping 50 pounds exactly, thanks to NOT eating.. *sigh* I need to let my doctor know. I started out at 228 BMI of exactly 40 and now down to 178. I feel this is too much too soon. I want to eat so bad but afraid too.

The pill is called Zofran. they give it to cancer patients and it it VERY expensive...$20 a pill without insurance...$10 a pill with. But it works pretty good. Good luck with the nausea, I wish I knew what was causing it! Lynn

Hi Lynn! I had my surgery on Oct. 26th, and have had constant nausea since. My Dr. did try several different anti nausea drugs but none really helped. However, I had not been able to keep anything down either. I just found out that I have a bad ulcer where the pouch and intestine are joined, and I am being treated for that. Now the nausea is gone and I am able to eat/drink. I am on a full liquid diet until the ulcer goes away; but I am not nauseated anymore. Unfortunately, I had to be admitted to the hospital and just spent a week there because of dehydration. So, don't do what I did and wait too long to talk to your Dr., ok? Blessings, Betsy

I have also been fighting my nausea since 10/27/04. It has made me eating any amounts of food impossible. It has resulted in a weight loss of 41 lbs and I started out at 219 lbs. Right now my Dr. has prescribed me a Reglan/Phenergan combination along with Prevacid and has began to hold my vitamins for a while. If your Dr. comes up with something that will help you and gives you ease please let me know I would really appreciate it. Jaymee
