help pain in lower stomach

Hi there, Question anyone else experiencing pain in the lower area kinda where your overies would be. Its almost like a constant persistant gnawing pain similar to if you were constipated for a long long time. Although i have been taking explax for the last two nights and soo the bowels are moving. This has been going on for a week now. Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this. Pain on a scale of 1 to 10 would proly be a 3 not anything to run to the er about but annoying. My surgeon is a 8 hour drive away and not in this week sooo was hoping you guys could lend a thought or two. thanks kindest regards deborah gale 183/241

Hi Deborah, I'm having a pain kind of in the same area - closer to my left hipbone though. It also feels like constipation or gas, but I can safely say these can't be an issue for me either. I was gonna put in a call tonight to my BS Nurse since mine has been going on for three days - if she gives me any info I'll let you know. Hi, Deborah: I've had many cir****tances of 'unusal' pains -- very similar to what I believe you are speaking about. My determination has really been that they are gas pains. Sometimes they've lasted for a 3-4 days, sometimes for less. If they are of a concern to you, I would give a call to your physician. This is such an interesting time; getting to know your new body -- and how it functions. In the last eight weeks, I've often said that I've felt like someone took ME, my soul, my being ... and plopped it into a new body and, after my entire life, I'm trying to figure out how it works. Because it's all so very new and the body's responses are sooooo different to my 'previous life!' New and different aches, pains -- and all those internal rumblings -- are now potentially scary things. I hope that you find an answer to your concerns. Best wishes -- -- Darcy
