What did you eat today?

OK - someone had a great idea of posting what we ate that day so I will start. I am back on the wagon and had a very low carb - high protein day and I am so proud of myself! B - protein drink (6 tbsp Amino Infusion Fruit Punch mixed with 16 oz water) S - 8 oz Carb Countdown Chocolate milk L - 2 oz tuna mixed with 1 tsp mayo and 1/2 tsp sweet pickles S - string cheese D - 2 oz chicken with 1 tbsp spaghetti sauce and parmesean cheese 2 tbsp spinach S - 1/4 c Edy's Carb Benefit Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream (which I am eating as I type) Totals: 594 calories, 24 fat, 13 carbs and 77 protein. My carbs have been in the 60 - 80's the past week so this was a much better day! I think I should have skipped the ice cream - a full serving, which is 1/2 c - has 11 grams of fat, so I got 6 grams with 1/4 c - that seems high for a snack. BUT it did really kill my craving for something sweet. It also accounted for 7 of my 13 carbs so I would have had a killer day without it. Jenn -37

I am glad someone started this... B Worldwide Protein Drink, Dutch chocolate S - none too busy L 4 oz salmon, small amount of potato, zucchini, and carrots S s/f popsicle D 4 oz salmon, small amount of potato, zucchini, and carrots (leftovers from a Christmas party and have more for tomorrow) S s/f Carb Solutions ice cream bar I know I did not get in enough calories today but with an office party and work, I just did not have time. Water - about 48 oz but will try to get another 12 oz before bed. I also did not have time to do my Fitday counter Sheryl Tomorrow will be better

Ok, here is what i have eaten today: Breakfast - 1 toaster scramble Snack - 4 sm cubes of kraft cubed cheese lunch - 8 lil smokies w/bbq sauce 3 slices of cheese over 2 hours (need to get away from the processed cheese and stick to the kraft cubes... much better for me) dinner - 1 hamburger patty and two bites of cauliflower (which made me sick, so i cant count this meal, didnt have time to even get thru) Totals: Calories - 655 (high cuz of the processed cheese, its a sin) Fat - 48g (high today) Carbs - 19g Sugar - 6g protein - 22g (would have been more had dinner stayed down) I am 8 weeks out and have lost 48 lbs... I feel like I am doing badly.. and that I should have lost alot more by now.. but, i should just be thankful that im losing at all... HI My day started at 3am so i had a pretty hectic day and am still off track. B- a couple of crackers w/ sliced cheese S- about 3 dorritos L- A leftover baked potatoe D- cream of mushroom soup( cooked salmon then didn't want it had to force myself to eat soup) S- sunflower seeds in the shell ( love em) Water intake 40 oz don't know any of the facts about my food.

B-graham cracker w/reduced sugar peanut butter, applesauce s-protein shake L-1/2 c. cottage cheese, 4 reduced fat wheat thins s-protein shake D-2 oz tilapia fish, 2 oz. low carb yogurt s-sf popsicle water, vitamins! Shelley -61 lbs

B- proplete gold bananna protein drink mixed in 1% milk, total protein 34 g about 10oz calories about 350 2.5 g fat snack- 1 oz mixed fruit in water 25 calories ) protein o fat lunch- half cup soup(restuarant) one slice chicken quaesadea mabye 2 oz at best 2 cups (10 oz) hot tea with splenda snack- nothing too busy thats it so far. add about another 10 oz of water and its 3 pm here now. dinner will likely be another slice of the quaesadea which I have boxed from lunch with a snack of one 8 oz lowfat chocolate milk 130 calories 2.5 g fat 9 g protein

my day isn't over but so far I've had: 3 oz. tuna with low fat mayo 1 carb and 21 protein 3 oz. baked ham 0 carbs and 21 protein 1 cup broccoli 2 carbs and 2 protein 1/4 c shredded cheese 0 carbs and 3.5 protein. This is soooo much better than I was doing. Hugs, Barbara
