Mayra I don't know what you are allowed at this stage. All food plans are different. My lunch usually consists of 1/4 C tuna with fat free mayo or 1/2 c soup 8 Wheat thins or 1 stick of string cheese, or 1/2 tomato Snacks SF pudding SF Popsicles Fruit protein drink cottage cheese applesauce I try to keep as much as I can in the office fridge to catch any craving I might have. I have been back to work for 3 weeks and have not cheated at all. When the office has cake or donuts, I grab my sf pudding or fruit. Hope this helps. I also bought the Glad containers that hold 1/2 c so it is easy to watch my portions. Good Luck Sheryl

Good luck back to work tomorrow. I had a lap band, so my diet is slightly different than yours. I had to travel recently, and my doctor gave me good advise--that keeps ringing through my brain. Don't try anything in public that you haven't tried at home. Makes sense--maybee keep this in mind when planning your lunches. Joan F.

Since I have a problem eating more than a few times a day (Not EVERY day) - and don't like to think much/take time for long food prep - the dietician suggested I get a low carb/cal/lite yogurt smoothie for the morning so at least I'm getting some protein. For meals, she suggested the Lean Cuisine/Healthy Choice/Weigh****cher - SMALLER size entries with the main part of the meal being meat of some type. They tend to have meat that has moisture in it and is easier to get down. Typically they run 2-300 calories with up to ~25 grams of protein. I've found this to work good for me so one meal is quick and ready. Cheese and crackers tend to get stuck for me.

Hi Mayra... I usually bring 2-3oz tuna with Light Mayo and Whole Wheat crackers 3 oz tuna has 20 g protein in it. Also, a cup of refried beans with cheese on them. Or I will bring, SF pudding and SF applesauce and string cheese for snack. I also have Syntrax Matrix 5.0 protein drinks, and they can be mixed with a spoon or in a water bottle, so I just bring those to boost my protein throughout the day. They are REALLY good and each 8 oz. is worth 23 G protein. Just don't try anything new and make sure you chew real good because not chewing well enough can make you sick also. We had a BBQ at work and I tried some BBQ beef and I was sick for 3 hours. I think the BBQ sauce was too sweet. Good luck, Jennifer -52 (-37 since surgery) 237/222/185/135 50 pounds til goal....

Mayra.....I am 8 weeks now and eating much better than I was only 2 or 3 weeks ago and it seems that I'm only about 3 weeks ahead of you. Having said that, when I was from about 3 weeks to about 6 weeks, I LIVED on Lean Cuisines! Mostly the Ravioli one and the Canneloni one. They were soft and had like 10g of protein in each one. I could eat about 1/3 to 1/2 at a time and I just saved the rest for a couple or 3 hours later. Also, Michaelina's brand has a lean or light version now and they have a lasagna that's really yummy, too. Also has 10g of protein. They made my tummy very happy and I felt like I was eating the right stuff!! OH...also during that time period, I ate alot of Taco Bell's Pinto's n Cheese! YUM! Now, I'm on a Wendy's small chili kick! Good luck going back to work! Lisa

I also wanted to suggest one more thing. You know that jello salad thing that everyone has for Thanksgiving?? I am going to make some of that for to have on hand!! My mother in law makes it all the time for holidays and it was really good and settled very well. It's sugar free strawberry jello, strawberries, crushed or tidbits of pineapple and cottage cheese. Very good for you and a great snack! OH yeah and a few chopped pecans! I have 13 month old twins and they just LOVED it so I'm making it to have on hand for THEM, too! What a great snack!! Lisa
