I have been sick to my stomach off and on every day not dumping, just feel very sick. It doesn't matter what I eat or even if I don't eat at all. Is anyone else feeling this way too. It has been six weeks since my surgery, and this started about 2 weeks ago. Thanks, Debbie

Debbie Is is nausea? I have seen where some people get nausea meds to help. After surgery I had stopped taking my Prevacid. About 2 weeks out I started getting heartburn/GERD/upset pouchie so my doc said to start taking it again and I have not had any problems since. Other than that, I dunno...... Good Luck Sheryl

Hi Debbie, I had my surgery 10/18 and had an upset stomach/nauseous feeling until about a week ago. I felt miserable most of the time. I guess this is something that just passes, eventually. I can totally sympathize. I still get it sometimes, but not as severe. I just have to really watch what I eat and that I eat on schedule. Nancy

What do you eat? I had surgery 10/26. The first 2 weeks were fine. The last 2 weeks I throw up a lot. The doctor wants me to eat lean meat & green leafy veggies...no milk products or anything else. One meal I can, the next few days, I can't because I will get extremely sick & throw up. I live on Crystal Light. I had labs done, but everything was OK!

If I forget to take my dose of Pepcid AC I get nausea (I take it twice daily). Lori

OMG I had nausea so bad I was hating life. It lasted about 2.5 weeks. I had to get some meds from my surgeon. I mean I was in tears because I could not take that feeling. It is horrible. My surgeon gave me a patch that goes behind my ear for motion sickness and he allowed me to have small amounts of Ginger Ale...let me tell you...IT helped tremedously. It finally subsided. I was also taking Zantac but the patch and the ginger ale is what helped the most. I honestly know how you feel. I had never been so miserable. Hot tea with lemon in the morning helped me but still everything made me feel like crap. Lots of luck! Trish 9 weeks post op - 48lbs
