has anyone exprianced dumping yet?
I've experienced dumping twice so far. The first time was about two weeks after surgery, I was accidentally given CIB (not the SF kind) and within fifteen minutes I was ill, but it went away quicker than I expected. The second time I dumped was from lettuce, I think. I had gone to Subway about a week ago and got a six inch mediteranian sub, scooped out the insides and threw the bread away (it was my first time trying lettuce so I didn't want to order a salad and waste a whole bunch of it, and this way ended up being really convenient for controlling portion size). Anyway, during the night I woke up with the worst stomach cramping and had to use the facilities - I had some bad bad diarrhea. Funny enough, I decided to give lettuce another try last night and everything turned out fine (ate the exact same thing). But, I notice that my stomach seems to be ok with almost anything and everything. I still don't try a wide variety of foods - but for the most part, when I do try new foods my stomach is almost always happy with the choice (probably just happy to have something new). Don't get me wrong, my stomach gets sensitive and has its days probably like everyone else here, but I've learned that most of the time I just need to push through and its fine. Not that Im saying that is what we should do, but for me, I know my body and pushing through (like drinking or forcing in my protein) works for me. Burping also seems to be my stomachs way of saying it disagrees with something and I have thrown up twice, but it was because something was too dry and a pressure built in my chest and I had to "take care of it" myself. Its all so much fun! LoL
Good luck!
