IT'S NICE TO KNOW THAT NOT ALL THE SURGERIES HAVE BEEN PERFECT. NOT THAT I DON'T WANT THEM TO BE, BUT I FELT KIND OF LONELY WHEN I POSTED LAST WEEK ABOUT MY SITUATION AND NO ONE COULD TELL ME ANYTHING. ANYWAY, SOME PEOPLE DID ANSWER AND I THANK YOU FOR THAT. UP TO DATE, I AM FEELING GREAT. ANOTHER WOUND WAS OPENED AND DRAINED ALL THE PUS OUT. MY BELLY FEELS ALOT BETTER AND FINALLY, I CAN MOVE AROUND AND ENJOY THE DIFFERANCE. I CONGRAGULATE ALL THOSE OCTOBER LOSERS AND I TOO HAVE LOST A TOTAL OF 31 LBS. IT IS NOT EASY, BUT THE WORSE IS OVER. GOD BLESS EVERYONE AND KEEP LOSING, YOUR GOING TO FEEL AND LOOK GREAT. WITH LOVE, LISA

Hi Lisa, Looks like we share the same surgery day... OCT 20th... You also had an incision open up... My top left incision has a hole the size of a quarter and has been infected... OMG... and it stunk to high heaven... LOL... actually kind of gross... my Dr. kept telling me it was alright and to not worry about it... But I have a friend who is a surgical care wound nurse and she told me how to care for it... and I am taking some antibiotics I had left over to help... It is getting better... Slowly, still really tender around the hole and still red... but the odor is much better almost gone and I have been flushing it out with peroxide... It is still draining a yellowish clear goo... but at least its not the dark brownish black stuff anymore... which my Dr. told me was dead fat... Well, thank goodness that is gone... How is your incision doing? What did your Dr. do for you? Glad to hear that your feeling better... Well, tomorrow we will be 4 weeks out... WOOOO HOOOO... I am down 36 lbs from my starting weight of 326... I cant believe it... I am so very happy I did this... Can't wait to hear how your dealing with the incision problem.. Talk to ya soon, Leslie -36

HI LESLIE. ITS NICE TO HEAR FROM SOMEONE ON THE TOPIC. WELL, EVERYTHING IS GOING GREAT. AT FIRST I GOT A LITTLE FUSTRATED ABOUT THE WHOLE ISSUE (WOUNDS), BUT THANKS GOD EVERYTHING IS GOING GREAT. THE FIRST INSICION IS PRATICALLY CLOSING UP. WHAT IS LEFT OF IT IS THE SIZE OF A RAISIN. IT WAS SO BIG THAT THEY (THE NURSES) PACKED UP EVERYT DAY WITH A 4X4 GAUZE. THATS HOW DEEP IT WAS. THE OTHER NEW INSICION IS GETTING GOOD. STILL THE SIZE OF A WALNUT AND VERY DEEP. LET ME TELL YOU, TODAY HAS BEEN A WONDERFUL DAY. I WENT OUT. IT IS SUCH A GOOD FEELING, BEING ABLE TO WALK STRAIGHT WITHOUT BENDING AND HOLDING MY PAINFUL BELLY. THIS IS HOW I WANTED TO FEEL SINCE THE BEGINNING. FROM THE START I KNEW SOMETHING WAS WRONG, BUT ITS ALL CLEARED UP. EVEN MY 4 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER IS USED TO SEEING ME CLEAN UP MY OWN WOUNDS. I HAD BEEN GOING WEEKLY TO THE DOCTOR SINCE MY OPERATION, AND FINALLY, ON THIS PAST TUESDAY HE TOLD ME HE DOESNT WANT TO SEE ME IN A MONTH. FINALLY, I GET TO REST. IT IS SUCH A RELIEF TO KNOW THAT I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE!!!! THANKYOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR WORDS AND GOD BLESS YOU. ME TOO,,,, I HAVE LOST UNTIL TUESDAY 31 LBS. I DONT KNOW IF I HAVE LOST THESE THREE DAYS, BUT I THINK SO. I DONT HAVE A SCALE. I THINK IT WILL FUSTRATE ME. SEE YOU LATER AND BYE AND GOOD LUCK, LISA -31
