Hey everyone, I posted this a couple weeks ago, about 2 or 3 days after surgery, but I am still struggling so just wanted to ask again. I am still feeling nauseated sometimes when i drink. It doesn't matter if its water or crystal light, it doesn't matter what the temperature is or how fast I drink, but 50% of the time I can feel it hit the bottom of my stomach and then I feel sick for a couple minutes. I am trying really hard to get all my fluids in but I dread every sip because I don't know how it will make me feel. This doesn't happen with food, just with liquids. Please someone tell me this will go away soon, I am getting so frustrated!!!!!! Thanks in advance!! Lindsay

Lindsay, Try sf popsicles for awhile to help you get your water in.Each lick may help .If it doesn't pass, I would check with my Doc. Robin

I am sorry you are feeling so bad...it sounds like you have tried everything to change it...maybe check with your doctor or nutritionist. I found that I cannot tolerate citrus post-op. I was drinking it daily and feelign sick daily and finally put 2 & 2 together! I am having some trouble with food, alot of it does not sit well. I just move on to something else and forget about that particular item for a while. Hope you start to feel better... Jennifer -23.5 (-38.5 since July) 237/222/198.5/135
