A report on Deb G's surgery

hello all! I am happy to report that Deb G. made it to the other side with flying colors!!! I went to see her in the hospital today. She is doing fine and looking good. In pain, of course, but doing great! She slept quite a bit of the time while I was there, but that is to be expected since NO ONE seems to get sleep at a hospital! LOL! She's a real trooper and I am SOOOOO happy to finally have gotten the chance to meet her. I can't wait to hear her tales of losing the weight and getting her life back!! The surgeon was able to do it LAP, so hopefully she will up and living life to the fullest soon enough! She goes back to get her staples removed in about 2 weeks and is supposed to be discharged Monday. I am sure by Monday she will be ITCHING to tell people all about it LOL! So here you go Deb....I did as promised....and thank you for being a "clothes angel" to me. I tried on that suede number and OMG girl....I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!!!! cannot WAIT to find a place to wear THAT!!! oh...the jammies fit too!! WOOHOOO...my FIRST pair of REAL jammies since i was a KID!!!! Thank you, hun!!! Can't wait to see you after you get your staples removed!!!! We have a great thrift store here in town...we'll have to do a little clothes shopping ;o) bye for now!!! Love, Ann B in NB
