ATTN PRE OPS, and new postops

Just wanted to offer a tidbit that was of great use to me. As the system got going again right after surgery, twisting to wipe in the bathroom was the last thing I wanted to do. On advice of my coordiantor I had my husband pick up some kitchen tongs, the scissor action kind, and some flushable wipes. This was of great assistance to me the first 3-4 days home. They (husband and sister) laughed at me, but at least they didn't have to do the job for me. Jill

Dear Jill, Wow, I wish I had read your e-mail before my surgery! That would have been awesome. Twisting was a real problem. Is better now, but still a few problems.
