Okay, I am starting to get nervous...

My surgery is next Wednesday the 27th, and I am starting to have a lot of mixed emotions. I am still REALLY excited, but the "what if's" are starting to flow thru my head. I know it will all be okay, but you can't help but wonder "what if..."

Oh I hear you there!!! Mine is set for the 28th and I am soooo nervous!!! I am afraid I will never be able to eat again!! I know thats not true, but it sure feels like it. I have been more emotional this week than ever...I am scared, nervous, happy, and afraid. I go to the dr on wed for my pre op appt and cant wait for that....good luck with your surgery!! Shayne

I'm 2 weeks out, so I can tell you, it's going to be alright. I didn't have time to get really nervous. The drive to the hospital was 7 hours long the day before, and my DH and I just fell into bed at the motel and tried to get some sleep. Then, up at 5:00 am, hit the shower, and off to the hospital by 6:00 am. Once you get to the hospital, they just take over and you sit back and go along for the ride. Good luck to both of you!
