HELP, any suggestions???
Its normal to feel nervous, but try not to freak out. Look at it like this once you've had the surgery you will began feel better physically and mentally, you will also began to notice a change in your appearance and will began to feel really good about yourself. Believe me others will notice the remarkable change in you.
I agree with Cathy get to your DR. ASAP and get rid of it I just had my surguery had a little broncitus that I wasn't going to let stop my surgery the result a bit of a struggle after the operation and a day in ICU but since then all has gone well. just get those anitbotices going now, also tell you dr you are having surgery the 20th if he doesn't know so he can give you something strong

Stop freaking out! My surgery was on 10/04/04. A few days before surgery I started sneezing, stuffy head- felt like a cold. I got really nervous and started stressing -"The What IFS" had begun to set in. I spoke with my surgeon at his mandatory Pre-Op Seminar about this Cold thing that was happening to me. He assured me that as long as it was not in my lungs or a serious infection, the surgery would go on.
Take some vitamin C & Echinecea and relax!
Good Luck! Val
