No surgery for me on Monday

Well, I was suppose to have surgery on Monday but it's not going to happen now My MD received my pre-op results on Thursday & there is something wrong w/the bloodwork (nothing serious). My Dad who had an appt @ the MD today was told this info & to have me call them. Instead I went there (I had a nail appt & they are in the same complex) When I got there, I was told by the front desk woman that everything was fine, I was cleared & she would refax my clearnace. I then gave this info to my surgeons office & went about my day. At 4pm, my surgeons office called to say they still did not have clearnace. So, I called the MD..this time I was told that there was something wrong w/the bloodwork. By now, my blood was boiling & I was in tears, mainly b/c i was there early enough in the day to have fixed this prob and was given the wrong info. So, I have to reschedule my surgery. The surgeons office told me I could most likely have it Wednesday the 13th. However, instead of running around like a mad woman & having another "freak out" on Tuesday if Wednesday doesnt happen, I decided to have it on Nov 3rd. I'm in a wedding on Halloween & instead of not enjoying the food & dancing..I figured everything happens for a reason & I should take my time & enjoy the wedding as my last horrah w/food..lol! So, this is my update. Of course, I was very upset @ 4:30pm today when all this happened (lol..i had just purchased my enema too...lol) but now, I'm fine & realized this was suppose to happen for whatever reason. I chose to think it's b/c I'm suppose to have a great time @ the wedding & then have surgery!!! Oh no, I wont be a Thin Ten anymore, I'll be a November chic..lol! HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND EVERYNE!

Hi Amie, I would just like to tell you that I am so proud of you. You were upset for a bit, but you realized that it wasn't worth it to do that to yourself and you began to look at it from another angle. It is a rough thing, I worry that my pre-tests will cause my surgery to be postponed but you have helped me to realize that I shouldn't worry what happens was meant to be!
