Hi everyone I had surgery on Monday the 4th. I came home Tuesday evening. I feel okay. Im not sure if some of the feelings I have are from the gasses in my stomach, full feeling or what it is. Also I think that I am not drinking as much as I should be. My doctor wants me to drink about one ounce every 10 minutes and when I try that I feel like I want to throw up. Any ideas.

Hello, welcome back, I am so gald to hear everything went okay. In my post-op instructions, I read that feeling like your going to throw up is normal, that to continue drinking and it should subside. Good luck and keep us posted on how the days to come are doing! Congratulations soon to be big loser!

Glad you're home. The drinking seems to be a full-time occupation! I had my surgery the day after you did, and it feels like I'm spending all my time sipping. As for the trouble you're having, I found that taking deep breaths after I sip seems to help me. Otherwise I feel like I have a big bubble in my chest and nothing will get past it. Hope that helps. ~Cathy
