6 days & A Wake-Up

Just checkin' in...down to six days a wake up. My Pre-Op appt. is on Thursday, surgery on Tuesday. I have been an emotional train wreck but am finding myself calming down some now. How are the rest of you holding up??? Danielle

I had the last tests and preop visit last Friday. Now I am more relaxed about it because I know no test results will delay the surgery. Hope it works for you too. Surgery is this Friday!!!

I'm thinking that after the Pre-Op testing I'll feel a lot better about this. Maybe then every emotion will be pure joy & excitement. All my best to you! Danielle

I have my pre-op exam thur 14th and surgery the 18th, not nervous, tired of waiting

My surgery is scheduled for the 14th.. 9ish days away. I had my pre-op testing on September 30th. I still have no clue how they turned out though. I have been pretty nervous myself. Worried about complications and all that, but hoping I'll be alright just the same. I'm also sort of getting impatient. I just want this to get over with and get on with my life. The waiting game is the worst at this point. And yet, I'm excited!! I can't wait to put WLS to work for me, and achieve my goals. So yah.. Nervous, worried, impatient, and excited.. That's the short end of it. Good luck to you, hope everything turns out great. You aren't alone.

Wow! 6 days? Good for you. I wish I "WAS" you. I still have 20 days to go. It's alright though. I have a ton of housework to do befor then. I too have been extremely emotional the last couple of week. although It didn't help to loose my father. But, i now know i have someone looking after me thru it all. I went from being sad, emotional & scared to feeling calm, safe & excited. I wish you the best & will send a special prayer your way. Laurie

Hi Danielle, I just had my surgery Monday 4th . Everything went fine so far I'm still sore but its nothing you can't handle. I will be thinking of you and just remember you must walk the sooner after surgery the better the sorness will be. Charlene Ward
