Ok!!! I'm nervous!!

I have done almost a year's worth of research on having the surgery, so I know that it's not because I'm in the dark. I'm very much looking forward to it, but at the same time scared to death!! I'm sure this is normal. My surgery date is the 20th and it can't come soon enough! Best of luck to all who are having surgery in October!!!

Hi Shelley! That's my nickname but I spell it Shelly. I know exactly how you feel. My surgery is 10/19. It was supposed to be 10/12 but it was pushed back a week - doctor has a conference. I really want and need the surgery but at the same time I am so scared. I know that is natural and I am sure that everyone goes through pretty much the same thing but that still doesn't make it any easier. I feel that I have a great doctor and that counts for something. Get going on your shopping and cooking, girl! That will keep you busy for at least a little while. Don't worry. I've bounced between all the emotions since I got my date. Keep busy and it will come quicker than you think.

Congradulations Shelley, that is great news. I know how you feel my surgery date is the 22nd and I am counting down the days. Not as nervous yet but I'll tell you the day of surgery forget it, I will be bitting every nail on my fingers. Best of Luck and God Bless Christine Z
