I just try to keep focused on what my life is going to be like 6 months down the road. I can't wait to have more energy, feel better, look better, and regain control over my life. I see this surgery as the starting line, and I don't think as much about the actual surgery as I do about what it will do for me. Hope this helps. ~Cathy

Cathy, we have the same surgery date, not at all nervous about the surgery, with the exception of worry over getting the flu, cold and won't be able to have my surgery

Hi Tamara. My surgery is scheduled for 10/19 and I am so nervous, scared, excited - you get the picture. Like the others have said, I just think about how much better I will feeling in 6 mo. and how I will feel in a year! I want and need this surgery, not only for myself but for my family as well. I want to be around to raise my 7 yr old daughter. I want to be able to run and play with her instead of watching from the sidelines. That is not living - not to me anyway. It is natural to be scared - I'd be worried if I weren't, but we will get through this and be happier for it. I wish you the best of luck. Take care. Rachella

Ok girl, I have the same surgery date. Its absolutely normal to feel that way. Just remember God didn't bring you this far to leave you! I worried about being the only one this doesn't work for, but that really is not going to happen, we WILL lose you'll see!! Then I want pictures! Try and relax, take your vitamins, and wash your hands alot to kill any germs. Its gonna be OK! Blessigs~ Robin R
