Oct1-SurgeryDate-Anyone else?

Oct 1 is my surgery date along with my sisters. Anybody else scheduled for Sept 30 or Oct 1 or 2nd and what to support eachother?

Charla, I have surgery on Oct. 1st. I am nervous and excited. My Dr. has a great support system as part of their practice so I am feeling better about what to expect during the process of surgery and recovering. 4 days behind you, oct 5th. I am sooooo ready. Have had more fears about insurance and financing, long story, than about surgery. I can't wait for this life changing event. See you on the losing side as they say. Jill

I'm on the 5th too. I preop on Thurs. After all this time, I'm just kind of numb. I haven't cooked my chicken broth yet. I'm having mine done in Victoria TX. Where are you? Joanne

I have my surgery Oct 1st in Michigan. I am getting excited yet scared. I have been on supplements for a week now and lost 11# already. I will keep you in my prayers. Christine

My surgery date is also Oct 1st in Michigan. I went to my pr-op appointment at my doctors. I am all set. Nervous? You bet, but I try to stay busy. Janice

October 1st here too! I am totally excited...can't wait at all. I thought I would be nervous but I'm really not - my mind is totally blown away that in less than a week my life is going to be totally different!! And the ten day liquid diet isn't even as bad as I thought it was going to be - I'm not missing food at all, I just wish the protein shakes could somehow taste a little better - having to hold your nose and get an apple juice chaser ready to go is no way to "enjoy" your meals. I'm scheduled for October 1st as well. I'm nervous, and excited, and ready...and at moments strangely calm. I just want to get through the next few days so I can begin the rest of my life on the losing side. I'm in Oswego, IL.

Oct. 1 is my surgery date also. I live in Glen Allen, VA. (Dr DeMaria at MCV.) I think I have gotten over the scared emotion and am now just feeling really anxious to get this over with so I can start my new life as a loser. My 16 yr old is home w/ a bad cold, I trying to stay in a different room but it's really hard. I do not want this surgery postponed.
