Hi Renee Your day is arriving soon! Are you excited? I wish you the best and I know you'll do just fine! I'm going to Temple Community Hospital in Beverly Hills and the surgeon is Dr. Nazarian. I heard wonderful things about him. I read up about the hospital and it seems to be a small one and some have said it could be better, but I'm happy to have this WLS and I look forward to starting a new and healthier life! I'm still checking around to see other options, as I do live in Fremont and I would have to fly to LA and back...if I can't find something closer real soon then I will keep my appt for Oct 22nd Keep me posted on how you are I'll be thinking about you! Hello Debbie Thanks for responding to my post, it's nice to meet you I loved your profile, it's a pretty website. I'm sched for surgery as you know the same day you are! How exciting, huh? I'm scared like you, and don't know what to expect, but I think we both will do fine and it will change our lives for the better! I have to fly to LA to do mine. I rather have it close to home, but I got the date and I should do it. I signed up not too long ago and I got the call back so fast, I had to think for a minute and realize this is really happening. I hope I made the right choice with the doc that will be doing it. I'm just nervous. I've researched about the doc what I could find. I've been reading and researching about WLS all I can. I wasn't interested in it that much and I thought I could do it the old fashioned way. I've tried that way too many times and I would lose and then gain even more back. Some things scare me like losing hair and getting sick. There are risks no matter what kind of surgery. I had two c-sections and I did fine with that, so I'm hoping I will do well with this one as well. I'm here if you want to email me Keep me posted until our final days! I know everything will be GREAT and you'll do FINE! Sincerely, Kari
